Hey Guys,
I haven't installed a command start for some time so I figured I would use a Directed T Harness setup with 4x10 brain on my 2007 Escalade ESV.
I hooked everything up and cannot get the unit to work. Is there a trick to getting these 4x10 units working correctly or anything I need to look for.
It was the GM programmed unit. I have tried with an RF unit, my Smart Start as well the OE remote by pressing lock 3x times and nothing will trigger.
With RF kit I will see flashing light when I hit lock with OEM remote so that's a good sign. I have done soft reset as well and it seems to go through correctly.

usually when a RS doent do anything it has to do with the brake switch. That one should be through data. Thats hard one to figure out. When you try and RS it does any of the light flash on the 4x10?

33 years as a installer now just a retired old guy. Favorite thing to install/topic are remote starts/car alarms. Stop using test lights!!!

When I install the unit it will go from red, to orange then green when key is cycled.
After that I will not see any lights on unit. But when I hit lock on OE remote the rf kit antena led will start flashing so I know it’s picking up that signal.
I try 3x lock and nothing happens for lights on rs.
