I have a 2016 Mustang with a manual transmission. It appears that the factory did not engineer a remote start option for manual trans cars. 1. What suggestions does anyone have for aftermarket systems that would work? 2. How difficult would it be to install the the Ford factory remote start with a clutch bypass switch, witch the owner could set after verifying ebrake and neutral settings before exiting the car?

A lot of shops will install one for you. My shop However will not. In the past 20+ years of business I quickly learned as well as other shops that even though they make remote start systems with fail safes and some vehicles have neutral safety switches, it’s bad news. Too risky.
