I have a Code Alarm 1553 2 way alarm, works like a charm and I am very happy with it. I wanted to add some functionality and add a PKE system to it, so that when I come close to the truck it unlocks itself, however I do not want to remove the Code Alarm. I am looking for a way to put both and have them working side by side, my intention is that the PKE would unlock and lock the Code Alarm, meaning that I want to be able to either use the stock remote or the proximity PKE to effectively unlock/lock the truck and disarm/arm the Code Alarm.
Anyone know if this is possible or how it can be done? Thanks in advance for any help.
As an example, here is a PKE system link:

It is a 2006 Ford Ranger in case it may be relevant.
