I am installing a CM7200 with BLADE-AL in which I need to tap into the positive parking light wire. It is supposed to be brown, I have looked behind the light switch panel to the left of the steering wheel and in the kick panel, and there is no brown wire. There are darker brown wires which I have tested and none of them are it, nor are they the right color brown. Where else can I look to find this wire?

Bringing this back up. I followed the brown wire from the fuse box under the hood, it appears it goes straight to the rear parking lights, and does not come into the driver kick panel or anywhere I can easily access. I tapped into brown/white wire behind the light switch dial, that tests 12v when the parking lights are on and 0 when they are off, however the parking lights do not flash at all when unlocking/locking the door from the key fob. This leads me to believe I did not tap into the correct wire. Is there another way I can tap into the parking lights or have I mistaken on saying the brown wire travels underneath the vehicle straight to the rear parking lights?

use the negative light output pin 17 green/white on the cn 5 harness and don't use the positive light output on the compustar
Parking Lights gray/black BCM under driver dash, brown 24 pin plug, pin B2...much much simpler
