Hey everyone! So I just installed a remote starter on a 2010 ford transit connect. My instructions are pretty straight forward. I'm having issues with the unlock/lock wires. Found them on the drivers side kick panel. lock (black/orange, type B) and the unlock is black/green, type B). It I can hear the locks unlocking but it does not unlock the door? Or lock is intermittent. Any one else do one of these van's before? Any issues with the lock and unlock wires? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks fellas!

While the wire colors look correct, you might try going right to the 23 Pin connectors
at the GEM module. Info below :
Lock BLACK\ORANGE (-) GEM MODULE GREEN 23 PIN CONN, PIN 10
Unlock BLACK\GREEN (-) GEM MODULE GRAY 23 PIN CONN, PIN 11
The GEM (Generic Electronic Module) is located under the Drivers Dash, behind the DASH FUSE BOX.
If you find and vefiry these wires with a DMM and then you get the same results, it might be that your
R/S system is not outputting a strong enough (-) pulse. To verify if that is the case, use a jumper with
a 2 amp fuse connected to solid chassis ground and then a quick touch to the verified lock or unlock
wire.

Thanks Kreg357- I did find the GEM with the green and grey plugs. But I did not see those colors in them? Have you worked on one of these vehicles before?

Not recently and I don't have any photos on file for that vehicle. All the sources I checked
show those wire colors at the GEM plugs mentioned for 2010 - 2013 Transit Connects.

If you are sure of the wires, you could try that jumper test mentioned above to see if a solid
ground pulse works the locks properly.
