Hi everyone, quick question on a RS install I'm doing for a 2006 Mazda 3 hatchback with manual transmission.
I will for sure be using a Compustar unit w/ Blade AL compatibility, but I'm not sure exactly which unit to go with.
One option would be the 4900S and bypass the clutch switch with a relay (not a huge fan of this option).
Preferably I want to go with a unit that offers Reservation Mode. But my main question is will the iDatalink firmware (BLADE-AL(DL)-MA4-EN) "bypass" the clutch for me via data? Or will I still need a relay to bypass?
What Compustar unit would everyone recommend that is Blade compatible and Reservation Mode compatible? Must be 2-way and have lock/unlock on the remote.
Thanks in advance for any input!

nope the Bypass will not bypass the clutch via data either relay or using a ground out while start will be required. Also the Bypass will most likely not do "data e-brake" (the one I didn't work well), and you will have to manually wire in disarm/arm/locks. All the ALCA will do is Tach and Door trigger. Personally I would use a TB, and hardwire the tach / domelight.
Best option for Compustar is a 7200 brain with either a FT-Das, or FT-das2

The 4900S series does not support MT vehicles. You'd have to purchase a FT7200 package along with the FT-DASII as suggested from previous member.

Thanks for the input everyone. I was not aware of the DASII sensor - will be adding this to the parts list.
Last question - I'm having a hard time finding a two way remote confirmed to work with the 7200. Any suggestions on that front?

This will work with a CM7200-s R/S unit :
COMPUSTAR PRIME RF-2WG15-FM 2-WAY 3000-FT REMOTE
Three thousand foot range, one 2-way remote and one 1-way remote.

7200 will pretty much work with all the way compustar remotes.. (the newer ones, G15, T9, T10, T11)
