2015 Kia Sorento with a Viper 4806V. Installed and programmed without issue. Used Bitwriter to adjust programs. Set run time to 20 minutes. Customer has expressed the vehicle runs for around 10 minutes (no exact time provided), shuts down, then restarts on its own. Vehicle hasn't been returned to me to view, but I want to cover all possibilities when it is. Anyone have experience with a Viper that matches this condition? Parking lights come on after remote start function, so I'm puzzled at the moment.

Are you using tach mode?

Have you tried relearning the tach with the engine already warm?

No sooner than I posted this topic,I thought of a possible issue. I set this car on virtual tach, and the Hyundai/Kia platform doesn't match well with those. A few years ago I ran in to a similar issue, but the run time was much less, maybe 2-3 minutes. Going to run a dedicated tach signal to see if that solves the issue. Don't get many Kia's in my area, but I won't forget this if it solves the issue.
