I once a an alarm system with an immbilizer thing I believe, when the car starts it will drive for 30 sec then shut down and alarm will go off and will not restart until I do a lock/unlock sequence with the power lock switch.
The feature had to be enabled a certain way too. Using the alarms remote would not disable this.
Anyone ever had this feature or know what is required

I had a similar "anti-hijack" deal in my 93 s-blazer. Wasn't interfaced to the horn, however. It was defeated by a hidden toggle switch, you had to hit the toggle within about 30 seconds or the truck died and wouldn't re-start. It came from Jacobs Electronics. Jacobs had a big catalog of stuff and full of hype. The anti-hijack device lasted about 5 years and failed electronically. As I recall, the Jacobs stuff became known for not being very good.
