I have a Hornet 700T alarm which I plan to install in a 2000 Vette coupe. I am having a problem finding some place to mount the alarm box. Under the center console is out of the question since there is a lot of heat transfer there. Any installers or owners have an easy access suggestion?  Thanks...

mount it on the passenger side behind glove. there's some room there or driver side knee bolster closer to the center console.
