Hi all,

I'm new to this site and am looking forward to spending a lot of time on here. I've been installing telematics systems for 5 years (nothing more complex than a 3-wire and driver ID). I don't really know anything about alarms.

I had someone who approached me to ask me about a system with a starter disabler upon alarm activation which requires a keycode on a keypad in order to enable the starter. The few alarm guys that I know say that that is super "old school" and they do not know of anyone who manufactures a system like that. I wanted to post on here and read some of your thoughts. Is this system still relevant and if so, who manufactures this? Thanks in advance.

Sincerely,
A 12v Rebel

if it's just an immobilizer with a keypad that would be fine, but is there a reliable manufacturer left out there for this type of product?
