Strip back the insulation and use solder to make the connection. Use 3M electrical tape to wrap the exposed wire. Here is the wires that you need to grab for the keyless to work:

|       POWER LOCK|RED / black           |-  |drivers kick or BCM *2      |
|     POWER UNLOCK|ORANGE / black        |-  |drivers kick or BCM *2      |
*2 BCM is to the left of the steering column

Got  some more questions for you Jeff . On the wiring diagram it says the power door (lock )wire color is RED / black is that red and black or red or black also the power (unlock) wire says ORANGE / black. Is there anywhere that i can get a picture showing the location of th BCM and what it looks like ? There is not a drivers kick in my 2001 buick century thats why i am asking . Thanks  again for the help . high- d

Whenever you get a combonation of colrs like " RED / BLACK " this means that the first color is the main wire color and the second color is the stripe or tracer color. All vehicles produced has a kick panel. It's the panel directly to the left of the driver's foot. It usually has a plastic cover and the wire is behind this cover or in the BCM to the left of the steering column. You will have to search for these wires and make sure you test them prior to connection to ensure they are the corect wires.
