Hey guys, Im a bit confused as ive done a lot of searching thorugh these forums and google and still couldn't find anything to help. I purchased a keyless entry/ remote start/push to start all in one system, Its made by easyguard EC003-01, a chinese knockoff company and i can provide the installation manual if required. I have the push to start working but im at a loss for the door locks. The vehicle is a 2003 Lexus is300. I have used the DEI 1070 doc thats been mentioned. Right now in that configuration the doors will only lock from the key fob if the doors are already locked. If i unlock the door and then use the easyguard keyfob it doesnt lock or unlock.

Any ideas?

UPDATE: So i just found a diagram that mentioned that the 2003 IS300 has this issue with locking and unlocking and that the relay requires a ground. So I just did that. So the car will only lock when the drivers door is locked but will not unlock. And the car will unlock only when the drivers door is unlocked but will not lock.

you need a double pulse to unlock the door.. i assume you went into the door, and are cutting the lock detection wire with the relay?

my setup is just like this   https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/uploads/37Z_1070.pdf . Except i have the wire from 87 grounded which helped do a little more. Yes I am inside the drivers door, cut into the 3 wires. should I use a relay for unlock and a seperate relay for lock? been at this for a week now haha

remove the ground from 87. Did you use the diodes? Can you hear the relay clicking when lock the car? The window/lock switch is plugged in? maybe you can attach a picture of what you did.

So I'm an idiot. I tapped into the wrong Blue/black wire for the lock detection. I ran continuity for the green/red and green/black but didn't bother to check the Blue/black. I got the correct wire now and it works flawlessly.

finished the trunk lock.

Now im confused with the turn signal wire. The module I have has 2 turn signal wires that need to be connected. Probably one wire to the LH and one wire to RH turn signals. Problem is the car uses the turn signal handle to close the circuit, while my module uses positive voltage to turn the lights on. So now im at a loss as to where to connect the positive wires on the module to the vehicle.
