I realize this has been out of production for a while.
The provided instructions, for entering the feature programming mode, do not work. The 1701G unit powers up, and successfully learns the vehicle (the LED then goes ON solid). But it will not enter programming mode by the method specified in the manual (ignition ON, then OFF, and hitting the programming button within 5 seconds).
I'm sure that someone knows how to get this to work. Instructions attached. I purchased this older unit, because it does not need firmware updating that I do not have access to. Any help you can give me on this will be greatly appreciated!
