Hi I installed a lynx 2000 in a 96 eclipse the problem is that when the car is started with the key it remains running and if brake is depressed nothing happens! The smaller gauge brown wire is used for the brake signal and is testing like it should. The yellow wire is hooked to ign 1.
PLEASE HELP Thanks

From what you have described above, the brake should not shut the car down if you started it with the key. Only with the remote starter does the brake input shut down the engine.

Then there is something wrong with the brake input on the CPU. Bring it back to the dealer and get the CPU replaced or repaired. Sunny should be able to look after you on this for warranty at PME.

thanks Jeff that's what we have done, I saw in one of your posts that you highly recommend these units. Are they that reliable? Do they have the dependability of a DEI or Prestige unit?

I have not had any problem units since I started installing them in March. We have gone through about 30 units so far with 0 problem or returns from any customers.
