I think there are 3 fuse boxes in that vehicle. Under hood, drivers side kick panel and passenger kick panel. There is a blown fuse in one of them.

I checked all 3 fuse locations both visualy and with a continuity checker and all are still good. still no alarm , courtesy light or working key fob. I don't even know where the alarm is located in vehicle so I cant even trace the wiring or check the alarm.at a loss as what I can do here.

when you say "because 2 wires from the harness touched each other" what harness are you referring to?
is this a factory alarm or aftermarket alarm?
did you check all relays?

After market radio stock alarm. I did check the under the hood fuse box relays. Both ways applied voltage and checked for resistance. They all are in working order. The wires were between the new harness that attaches to the vehicles and the radios. Should i just replace all the fuses and relays? It also has these fuses where 4 or 5 are in one sealed unit. Visually they were fine too.

Did you test the courtesy light bulb to make sure is not burnt?
remove the bulb; check the courtesy light socket for voltage using a digital multimeter. set the courtesy light to the ON position: Does the courtesy light socket shows 12v in the ON position?

Does the courtesy light socket shows voltage in the DOOR position while any door is open? test each door individually (only one door should be open while testing for voltage)

Does the trunk courtesy light comes on when the trunk is open?
Does the lock/unlock buttons work properly on the driver's door?
Does the lock/unlock buttons work properly on the passenger's door?

Did the short circuit occurred while you were installing the aftermarket radio? if so, could you remove the aftermarket radio and re-wire the stock radio as it was before and then re-test the key fob, alarm and courtesy light.

No need to replace all fuses since you tested them to be good.

Ok, no i have not checked the actual bulb. Yes all the other features work except the alarm and key fob and the screen for the climate control. All was working after id removed stock radio. There was a few days before i a tually got back to connecting the new harness and radio. Yes the trunk light comes on. I also removed the navigation dvd from the trunk unplugged the stock amp and removed the stock bluetooth unit /device. Trying to avoid reinstalling the stock radio but it wouldnt be difficult or time consuming. May do it in an hour or two. Since no alarm i hadnt really worried about the other non working items. Figured it was one fuse that was dedicated to all the non working items. Or relay. Now im wondering if its integrated with the stock stereo or nav circuitry.

The stock radio is part of the multiplex control units in your Accord. Troubleshooting any further becomes easier if you could re-install the stock radio.

turn the vehicle switch to the ON position; use your multimeter to check for voltage and ground on the Gray 24 Pin Connector coming from the vehicle that connects into the radio by putting the negative probe to Pin #12 and the positive probe to Pin #24, is there voltage?

Constant power is a white wire, it is at pin 24. The switched wire is violet in color. It is located at pin 14. At least one of the 2 above listed wires do not have 12 volts on them. Let us know which wire does or does not read 12 volts with the key in the accessory or on position. It will be much easier to use the radio chassis for your meter's negative lead.

Ok. The purple wire has 12 volts. The white wire does not have 12 volts.

could you remove and re-check Fuse #15 from the engine fuse box. Fuse #15 provides constant power to the White wire at Pin 24.

Edit: Fuse #15 is 10 Amps and is labeled as "BACK UP"

Ok so i recheck the fuse .... looks good check for continuity .... meter beeps. But i throw in a new fuse from the spares anyways ...... and it works. Only thing that didnt is i cant put the code in for the radio. So i dont know if the actual radio is working or not. But since im replacing it anyways it probably isnt important. Would the stock radio have its own internal fuse?

for clarification, what you mean is that the following components are now working: navigation, climate control screen, key fob, alarm system except the radio?

i wouldn't know if the stock radio has a fuse inside.

Yes all the previously mentioned features were not and are now working. The stock radio takes a code to be able to use if power is removed . But i can take it from here i believe. Thanks for everything.

ok so now i have a different issue. i need to eliminate the on board amp. can i take the.... or better which wires should i use at the amp to wire straight to the speakers?theres connector A and connector B at the amp. both have speaker connections . connecter a has front left at pins 2 and 14. front right at pins 5 and 17.rear left at pins4 and 16 and rear right at pins7 and 19.connecterB has speaker connections pin 3 rear right negative. pin 4 has rear left negative. pin 12 has rear right positive. pin 13 has rear left positive. pin 15 has front right positive and pin 16 has front left positive.i was going to just unclip and cut and spice or repin the connector for just the speaker wires. theres also speakernetwork control connecters, one for each side of vehicle. passenger side behind the the cd player and drivers side kind by the bluetooth and the drivers side fuse box. where would be best ? or am i way off base here?
