Have not done a manual in a while, just wondering if on this vehicle if I can do starter wire to clutch instead of hooking up both starter wires 1 and 2. Or do I need to wire in relay for clutch switch and hook both up?

I see it a positive clutch that’s why I ask, i remember on older chevys I could just go to clutch instead

Yes, you are correct. Remember that the Tacoma has two Starter wires. On that truck you can power the Green/Black Starter1 wire as a normal Starter wire and then run a (+) Starter2 to the Black/Yellow wire at the Clutch Pedal instead of the Black/White Starter2 wire at the main ignition harness.

And, of course, use a proper Manual Transmission safe R/S unit. 8D

Soldering is fun!
