If I use an idatalink remote start T harness does the remote start unit receive a signal from the vehicle's factory hood pin, or do I still have to install the hood pin that comes with the remote start unit? If I have to install the hood pin that comes with the remote start unit, does the t-harness have a wire on it for the hood pin to be connected to?

Would be difficult to know without knowing what the vehicle is.

Basically im asking of the T-Harness has a wire on it for the hood pin that comes with the remote start
