I am wanting to find out which AstroStart model that is in my 2001 F150 Lariat. I was given no remotes, when I bought the truck. I pulled the main box down (it was stuck to the truck module up under the dash) and it pulled the identifying stickers off of the unit, so I can't read any of the numbers that I need. I have pics of the system, and if there is any other way to identify this, so I can possibly purchase the correct remote, then I will see what I can find. Here is some pics of the unit, antenna, and power switch. posted_image posted_image posted_image posted_image posted_image posted_image

If you get this working you should mount the antenna on the windshield. Having it under the dash really limits the range.
I uploaded the install manual for you that I found with google. Transmitter programming on page 27

Can you look to see if there are any frequency numbers printed on the antenna case?

Found an ebay auction that has the brain and remotes together so thats good. Makes it easy to figure out the exact remotes that came with that BBW system.
Remotes have FCCID: NJQ372HAF on them.

So you can use this LCD one here LCD Remote https://www.keylessentryremotefob.com/astrostart-NJQ372HAF-4-button-screen-key-fob-p/astro%20njq372haf%204btn.htm

Or this LED remote LED Remote

This should be the Owner's Guide for that outlines the functions for the remote transmitters.

Ok, I got more pics of the antenna, but with the way it was mounted, I can tell if it even ever had any markings or numbers on it, but here they are. posted_image posted_image posted_image posted_image

Some adhesive remover and elbow grease will get rid of the mounting tape. Then you can see the numbers underneath.

I have cleaned and looked at the antenna, and there are no visible marks and if there were any stickers, they were prior to me owning the unit. posted_image

OK, iskidoo, I did not find any printing or numbers on the back of the antenna, but there is a screw in the center of it, if I took that apart, would the board tell me what is needed to know for the frequency numbers?
