We installed a remote start (FLRSGM7) on a 2013 Chevy Equinox back in September. The customer drops the vehicle off yesterday before we open and calls to tell us that the vehicle hasn’t started with the key since about 2 weeks after the install but didn’t get a chance to get in touch with us. The only way to start the vehicle is with the remote starter we installed and oddly enough after you remote start the vehicle you can start it with the key but if the vehicle sits for 20 minutes or so it goes back to not working again. The key works fine in accessory but when you turn to start all lights and radio shut off. I’m thinking it might be an issue with either the ignition or the key (customer only has 1 key) but this one has me stumped.

is the pk3 fuse blown? the 2 amper?

Just wanted to give an update in case someone ever runs into this issue. It ended up being a bad key. After being accused of everything under the sun from the customer and being asked if we were going to pay for a replacement since obviously the remote starter broke his key :V:
