Has anyone used a timer and a relay to close/ open the front windows and sunroof by tapping the wires at the driver door? If so what was your set up for closing and also for rolling down. Thanks in adavance. Brian

I can put my key in driver door and hold to lock position , thus rolling both front windows and closing sunroof. I’m looking to put a two window roll up module on the rear windows and a module on the rear window as well. I will be using the orange( ground out while armed) output to control. What’s the best way to send a timed ground output for about 10 seconds to the wire at the driver door key switch to make this happen?

Which unit are you using? Some of the newer remote start alarms have the option to trigger wires with timers built in to the unit.

I just installed a Excalibur RS-475-3D. It has a trunk pop channel and a programmable channel. The wires for factory arm/ disarm can be programmed for channels 4 and 5 but no timer option. I’m guessing I will have to use a TR7 timer or the DEI pulse timer to make this happen.
