fuel injection or carb, I can't remember and im not much of a older car person

33 years as a installer now just a retired old guy. Favorite thing to install/topic are remote starts/car alarms. Stop using test lights!!!

should be pretty straight forward and no old passlock system in the vehicle to worry about. You dont need a bypass module or any relays or extra stuff as long as its auto transmission, if it manual your outa luck and can only do a alarm

12 Volts red + ignition harness
Ground (chassis ground)
Starter yellow + ignition harness
Ignition pink + ignition harness
Accessory orange + ignition harness
Power Lock lt. blue + driver kick panel
Power Unlock black + driver kick panel
Parking Lights brown + headlight switch or rear harness
Headlight yellow + headlight switch
Left Front Door Trigger white - pin switch or courtesy light
Trunk/Hatch Pin black/orange (only if equipped with cargo light) - cargo light
Trunk/Hatch Release brown - release switch or right side of console behind gear selector
Tachometer white or violet/white ac ignition coil
Brake Wire lt. blue or yellow + brake pedal switch
