Any one can help me?

I have installed a matrix 3 into a bmw convertible. Now I would like to add a 508 D radar senor. But can anyone help me out on how to add this feature? I belive I have to cut the plug of the radar senor. Then I am left with 4 wires. Red is postitive, black wil be then ground, but the blue and the green wires? Do I have to use relay for the warn away siren??? Do I have to use diodes. Please help me.

the green and blue wires are warn away and trigger. you can tap onto those to add the radar sensor (508D)

no they just attach. make sure you make a good connection.

Help. Please. I am confused here.... This is what I am dealing with - Matrix RS3 came with the sensor below. I am trying to add a 508D/proximity sensor. The wire diagram and description that came in the box doesn't match the sensor/wire color code that I have. Cut and splice what and where?!?

ok,
what you want to do is give the 508D power(red) and ground(black). Hookup the Blue and green to the blue wire of the alarm (the loose wire). This will give your 508D warn away and trigger on zone 4 (Sensor 2). And will give your shock warn away and trigger on zone 2(Sensor 1).

It's as easy as that.

So by what you are saying, I don't have to cut any wires. My next question is by what you replied: The Matrix is analyzing the outputs of the sensors. Anything less than .08+/-sec is a warn and anything over 1.0sec is a trigger.

And by the way you described how to wire it is: zone 4 is on the blue wire, and zone 2 is on the orange wire of the wire harness that was provided. Please clarify, this is the only wall I've run into so far. I'll be installing it this sunday, hopefully the smartwindows2 module doesn't give me any difficulties.
