Hi, I wanted to ask if 508D sensor plug and play with Viper 5706? I want to add it to my existing 5706 by myself, without going to the shop. Thanks an advance.

It's not exactly plug and play, but it's not crazy difficult either. See note at bottom. You will need to wire the sensor to a separate constant power source and ground.

Thank you very much for reply. Connect harness to both sides, then splice constant power and ground to red and black, or connect constant power and ground to sensor side only?

Connect sensor harness to module, but make sure the power and ground lead for the sensor are pulling power from somewhere else (just tie them into the alarms constant power lead and ground).
