Can anyone tell me what the BCM in a 2001 buick century looks like Because i cant locate the kick panel. Was told that the kick panel  was down by the parking brake(left of drivers foot) but there is no panel there just the mechnasim for the parking brake . I found the BCM . My question now is can i unplug the connector from the BCM  that has the 2 wires i am looking for RED / black and ORANGE / black  without messing up the BCM  in anyway.Thanks   high-d

One more question Jeff ,on my commando ke 30 on the wiring harnes do i have to wire up all the wires ,white for park lights,red for +12 to consntant battery ,black wire ground (which i did wire up.) The others are orange for groundedoutput when armed,gray for channel 2 output ,green for channel 3 output,violet dome light output.yellow fro igntion switched+12. Idont care bout any of those things Can i just wire up the white ,red and the black  for just the keyless entry to work dont care bout the horn or any of that just the keyless entry .  thanks    high-d

You should also hook up the ignition wire too. The others aren't needed.

Thanks for the info JWorm  Can  I get the constant +12 volts from any where or does it have to be from the ignition.If it has to come from the ignition why.  Thanks again for the info   high-d

Also do i need to hookup the yellow wire to the ignition for the keyless system to work

 I'll just put in my two cents here.... If its only a keyless entry, then you dont necessarily need the ignition wire. It's usually only there to automatically lock the doors when you start the car. If its an alarm system, you need the ign wire so the system wont activate while the vehicle is running.
