Some have a knob on the sensor that you can turn with a small screwdriver. Others need to be relocated to another spot that will transfer vibrations better. Where is the sensor mounted?

look under the dash for the clear little box tiewrapped to a harness. There is a inset screw adjustment that needs to be made with a small straightslot screwdriver on one side, in the middle of the sensor (its yellow in color). Clockwise turns up the sensitivity, counter clockwise turns it down.

I usually test the sensor by arming the system, count to ten, then using the palm of your hand, hit the top left corner of the windshield. ( make sure there is no cracks as they will definitly grow larger as you do this). A light tap, like basically bouncing your hand off the window should only make it chirp, and a harder hit, one with some good pressure, should set it off.

hope this helps

Steve
