Compustar 7200 Alarm Sounds Randomly Saying Door Opened

Hi all,

Looking for some help on what has been a frustrating issue, I have a Compustar (FT-7000AS-CONT 7AS) I installed myself on my 2005 Ford F-250 Crew Cab 6.0 Diesel. My issue is randomly the alarm will go off maybe once every day or two and say the door was opened. I have even been able to capture on the Drone Mobile app when it was going off saying the door was open. It seems to happen only in the daytime which makes me think maybe it could be temperature-related (I'm in Texas). I don't believe it to be a problem with the vehicle going into a sleep state as I can arm it and it may not go off for a day or two, and other times I've had it go off within 30 minutes. I have the four door triggers (negative trigger) wired separately to the four Compustar door input wires, with two output wires going into the same door wires - one for RAP shutdown and one to pulse the door wire on disarm so the dome light and bed light come on to mimic what happens when you use the factory remote to unlock. I can sit and look at drone mobile app while standing at the truck, and it will show all doors closed and as I open each door it will show open and then closed again when I close each one. So I know it's working most of the time. All connections are either soldered and heat shrinked or made with Posi-tap connectors so everything should be solid from that standpoint.

Do I need to diode isolate the output wires (RAP and the pulse wire on disarm) from the door trigger input wires? Other than a ground back feed issue it seems like at some point the voltage on the door trigger circuit must fluctuate just enough to make the alarm system think a door opened. Or possiblly a sporadic door trigger that during certain temperatures momentarily signals open? I'm getting short on ideas to what's going on and wanted to see if anyone here might have some insight.   Especially before I drop a bunch of money and time replacing all of the door switches and latch mechanisms lol, or even go to a new DC3 brain in case my CM7000 is faulty?

I would try just using the dome light wire as a positive door trigger. That's what is listed on this website (Directechs) and Bulldog.

Thanks for the reply and the links! I thought about using the dome light supervision wire as it would definitely work, the only thing I can't wrap my mind around is how I would handle the dome light coming on and triggering the alarm during remote start shutdown (same as if when you turn off the truck and pull the key out ignition), so I believe that will trigger the alarm if I use that wire for trigger since it will still be in the armed state upon shutdown. I haven't seen any settings on the alarm that would have it ignore input for xx seconds upon remote start shutdown but maybe I missed it in the manual.
