Hello, I m having trouble with my 2002 Dodge Ram 3500 diesel. Twice it has failed to disarm the security system after the doors are locked. This truck has automatic locks. Each time it wasn’t able to be fixed by the dealer. I was able to fix it by replacing the body control module. These are obsolete. Junkyard is the only place I can find them. I read where you can put a negative pulse through a 1500 ohm resistor on the geeen wire with an orange stripe, located on the drivers side kick panel. I have located the wire but am unsure how to do this. Can this be done with a bolt/ohm meter?

The wire is Light Green with orange stripe. Directechs says a 480 ohm resistor. Connect one leg of the resistor to that wire. Ground the other leg of the resistor.
