HIh last week i started to install compustart RS1B-DC3 i could connect all the cables except the cable for imobilizer data which is supposed to be in PASSENGER KICK PANEL blue 24 pin .pin 19 white or red cable is not in that location pleased any help will help everything else is done just need to locate this cable hiyunday santa fe 09 GLS posted_image posted_image

Your regular key 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe does not have an immobilizer system nor transponder chip in the key. As such, there is no need to use those immobilizer wires from the DC3 controller. Just follow the programming instructions for Steps 1 - 4 and then 7 thru the end.

While regular key Hyundai's sold in Canada have a transponder based immobilizer system, those sold in the States do not. Only PTS Hyundai's have a transponder in the States.

it have immobilizer system i can see it under the driver dash, this are the actual keys for it posted_image

Strange, I've never encountered one with a transponder chip. Typically Pin 19 empty means no immobilizer system.
Try wrapping the ignition key head (black plastic area) with 5 layers of aluminum foil. Make sure it's tight and completely encloses the key head to block the chip signal. Then try starting the vehicle.

Another way to tell. What happens at Step 3 of programming? If the LED 1 flashes Red once it indicates no transponder found.

yes at Step 3 of programming led 1 flashes red but if skip and do the 1 - 4 and then 7 thru the end. remote start will work and doors lock and unlock but notice vehicle will remote start even if the doors are open and siren wont work so no security at all still need immobilizer bypass

Well, being as you have a domestic market U.S. version Santa Fe with no Immobilizer wire at Pin 19 and the DC3 indicates no immobilizer found during programming and the vehicle will remote start without a key anywhere near the ignition switch, I think it's safe to say that your Santa Fe does not have a chipped key and immobilizer system. You can't bypass something that isn't present.

The fact that it will remote start with a door open is normal. There is no requirement that all doors must be closed and/or locked for a remote startup to occur. You can test the R/S system by remote starting the engine and then opening the hood. The engine should shut down. Same test to verify that depressing the Brake Pedal during R/S engine run time will shutdown
the engine.

I guess I'm confused. The basic RS1B-DC3 system only does remote keyless entry and remote start functions. The diagram that you posted is for the basic RS1B-DC3 system. It does not show a siren connection. The vehicle Hood Pin connection is a mandatory part of a R/S install to ensure the Hood is closed during a R/S. The one Door Pin connection is for AutoHeadlight turn off when required.
