2016 f150 lariat crew cab factory alarm, smart key, remote start.

Customer supplied megatronixusa shock sensor kit.

Having trouble getting output wire from module to interrupt door pin wire to set alarm. Shock sensor is working, can switch from ground or power output. Looking for a door trigger wire to interrupt and get alarm sounding.

Any suggestions on what wire I can tap to or interrupt? Lots of electrical experience just not so much on the newer vehicles and integration or alarm type of items.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks - I came across your post previously on another thread for a newer f150, didn’t know if they were the same.

So my units output trigger can be pos or neg.

If the door trigger wires are NC with a neg charge, I’ll assume throwing a negative charge from my output wire to a trigger wire won’t set off the alarm. I’ll have to “break” that nc wire somehow. Safe to do by just throwing 12v at it momentarily or is that asking to mess up something on the oem side of things? Need a diode or something? Any help is greatly appreciated. Not much of an alarm guy. ☹️

I am not sure how the Normally Closed triggers work. You asked about which wire to interrupt, and I figured that if you interrupt one of these wires using a relay it may set the alarm off. Find one of the wires, arm the system and wait the minute, then cut the wire. If this sets the alarm off you can use a relay to do that.   Also need to see if your sensor is capable of driving a relay. 160 milliamps is what the coil of the relay draws. Constant power to 86 sensor trigger wire to 85. One end of the cut wire to 30. Other end of cut wire to 87A
