Hi to the forum.
My volvo has central locking which works ok from drivers door lock. It also has cobra alarm system, which I think has been disabled. The led does not light at all.
Did all cobras come with remote central locking? The car did not come with fobs, and also cobra key, "pen" is missing. The pen receptable is by the light switch.
Was thinking of ordering chinese remote control unit with fobs for central locking. Could the new units wires be spliced to the non working cobra unit and after that remote central locking would work?
Also which colour is which in cobra 7195 wiring? Could I test the theory by shorting some wires from the cobra unit to ground, would that lock/unlock doors?
