Hey guys,

I just purchased 2 TRC 90-950 window roll-up modules. One is used to roll up on alarm arming, and the other is used to roll down after disarming.  I have a Vadar alarm (exactly the same as the Clifford Arrow 3, except with 2 way FM remote transceiver). The rollup trigger is from the alarm ground when armed wire, and the rolldown trigger is from the channel A output from the alarm. The rollup when armed works fine, but the rolldown feature does not. When I try to roll down, the driver's window always rolls down (by the way, I have a 2003 Chevy S-10 Xtreme), but the passenger's window works sometimes, doesn't work at all other times, and sometimes it goes down half way. I have noticed that when I roll the windows up and down using the switches, the driver's side always finishes first. What can I do to remedy this situation?

Also, about a week and a half after I installed the Vadar alarm, my dome light switch stopped turning on the interior light (the light still goes on in other situations) and my fog light switch doesn't turn on my fog lights. The alarm works fine, and I'm wondering if this is just a coincidence or if the switches aren't working as a result of my alarm install.

Thanks in advance,

sjankus

Sounds like you have wiring problems. May have tapped into the wrong dome light wire, and fog light wire?

Connections to the power windows might not be good. Thats what I would do first.

1. I agree, you may have tapped the wrong wire for the dome light.

2. Maybe check the fuse for the fog lights.

3. For the windows, did you use a large enough size wire? I used pretty big wire when I installed my window module. I'm not positive, but that could be a reason why it works sometimes, and not others. I would also double check your wiring (especially the power and ground).
