Hi, Im trying to get a 12v trigger when the factory alarm on My 2016 Ford Mustang goes off.
Ive tried going to the alarm siren but that is activated by CAN bus, the horn also triggers but I think that's from the BCM? Which would mean id get a negative trigger even if I push the horn manually?

I basically want someway to detect the factory alarm going off which will send an output to my aftermarket GPS tracker.

Any ideas on how to achieve this?

Thanks!

Instead of grabbing the Violet/Green (+) wire for the horn at the horn or battery junction box... I would grab the Blue/White wire at pin 20 of the C2280F (40 pin connector) at the BCM. The output is negative, so use a relay to invert the polarity.
