German cars had it first. You put the key in the door, twist it, and the windows go down an inch to vent. Or lock the car with the doors open, the windows go down so the doors close easier, then the windows go back up.

What is the name of this function? I've been trying to remember it for days. I come up with "courtesy closure", but I don't think that's it. Thank you in advance.
