Hello all! So I have ran into an issue while wiring my 2009 Ford Taurus X with a viper basic alarm system. Everything has gone well, power locks, alarm, horn honk, etc, EXCEPT for my parking lights. I can not seem to get them to flash with the alarms output. My parking lights have a negative trigger, and my issue is even with a straight ground going to my parking lights trigger wire, it takes about 5 seconds for them to turn on. When I flip the cars switch, they come on immediately. Because my alarms output is such a short pulse, the parking lights don’t have the time to fire off. Once again, my issue is the parking lights take 5 seconds to turn on even with a straight ground connection. Yes, I have the required relay, it still doesn’t want to turn on. Please help!

Bulldog and Fortin show a positive parking light wire available in the driver's kickpanel (purple/white).
