Hi, not sure if this is the correct location, mods please move if needed.
This is for those that may still have yet to install Compustar Remote Start / Alarm on a 2004 Nissan Titan. Compustar conveniently leaves out only the 2004 from benefiting from the Nissan installation T-harness. So much so that if you use one of Compustars models that must be flashed before install, like the CM-DC3, it will recommend (force) a different firmware for the 04 Titan, different from the 05-15 models, that does not work with t-harness.
Well forget thaT, if you have a 2004 Nissan Titan and go this route, choose 2005 before flashing your module, NOT 2004. Go ahead and flash, choose T-harness installation. Install with T-harness, program the module to your truck, and done. Total install time took me about 15min. This does not include the time I spent lost to first loading 04 firmware, finding out it does not work with t-harness, etc.
Hopefully this saves at least one other person out there because this info did not exist anywhere before this.
