Hey everyone,
I know with the bitwriter and older viper systems you were able to rename the 4 aux options on the LCD remote from the brain. I think i had a 5706.. the remote start/alarm that came with the lcd remote. I was able to rename (from a list of course) what each aux function controlled. Aux1 windows, aux2 roof, aux3 defrost...
Does anyone know if this is possible with the DS4 systems?
I did take it to an installer as i had a few wires not in use changed. I did ask the installer if he could do it as he is a viper installer and has access to programing the system but he said no.
I cant see how you are now able to change wires to different options but can not rename aux features on the remote? I currently have aux3 as my defrost, but when i use it the remote says trunk
