Hi,
This is my first alarm install and i'm having issues with the remote start not working. I can hear the relay clicking when I try to R/S but nothing happens. Alarm is a Viper 5305v on a 99 honda civic. Everything functions properly except for the R/s. The instructions are very confusing. I've searched and i can't find any answers. Any input is greatly appreciated.

I'm stuck with these wires. Do i need to wire these and if so, where to i connect them?

BLUE/WHITE (-) 200mA 2ND STATUS /REAR DEFOGGER OUTPUT
DARK BLUE (-) 200mA STATUS OUTPUT
WHITE/BLUE (-) REMOTE START ACTIVATION INPUT
PINK/WHITE (+) IGNITION 2 / ACCESSORY RELAY OUTPUT
ORANGE (-) 500mA GWA (GROUND WHEN ARMED) OUTPUT (I plan to use this as a ground for kill start relays)

BLUE/WHITE (-) 200mA 2ND STATUS /REAR DEFOGGER OUTPUT
Not needed - your car does not need a transponder bypass module. Could be used for the Rear Defroster if desired.

DARK BLUE (-) 200mA STATUS OUTPUT
Not needed - your car does not need a transponder bypass module.

WHITE/BLUE (-) REMOTE START ACTIVATION INPUT
Not needed. use the Viper remotes to initiate a R/S.

PINK/WHITE (+) IGNITION 2 / ACCESSORY RELAY OUTPUT
Needed, your car has two ignition type wires, IGN1 and IGN2.

ORANGE (-) 500mA GWA (GROUND WHEN ARMED) OUTPUT (I plan to use this as a ground for kill start relays) Not needed for Starter Kill. Used the thick Green and Violet wires on the vehicles Starter wire.

Here are the main ignition wire connections :
1 No Connection
2 RED/BLACK (+) FUSED 12V ACC/START INPUT          White
3 PINK/BLACK* (+) IGN2/ACC ISOLATION           Not Used
4 PINK/WHITE (+) IGN2 / ACC RELAY OUTPUT           Yellow @ IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
5 RED (+) FUSED 12V IGN1 INPUT    White @ IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
6 GREEN (+) STARTER INPUT (KEY SIDE) cut wire        Black/White @ IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
7 VIOLET (+) STARTER OUTPUT (CAR SIDE) cut wire          Black/White @ IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
8 ORANGE (+) ACC OUTPUT   White/Black @ IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
9 RED/WHITE (+) FUSED FLEX RELAY INPUT 87             White @ IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
10 PINK (+) IGN1 INPUT/OUTPUT             Black/Yellow @ IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS

I would connect the Tach wire and do a Tach Learn for best start-up performance.
TACH     BLUE (AC)     @ TACH TEST CONNECTOR*
* THE TACH TEST CONNECTOR IS LOCATED IN A 2 PIN PLUG UNDER THE HOOD ON THE DRIVERS SIDE FIREWALL.

Soldering is fun!

Thank you for clarifying the ignition 2. I left that wire out. Everything else is connected as you stated.

I already wired the Green and Violet to starter wire for starter kill. I plan to use the Orange when armed for a second kill switch option.

As for the clutch bypass. Which wire do i hook up? I'm assuming its in the 24 pin but there's no description. I do have the (-) PARKING BRAKE INPUT/EMERGENCY INPUT wired to E-brake wire.I also have (+) BRAKE SHUTDOWN INPUT wired to brake switch.

Im assuming its the Pink (-) 200mA IGNITION 1 OUTPUT that goes to clutch bypass??

I recently installed a Viper 5706v into my 1999 honda civic DX 5 speed manual. I added a tilt sensor, glass break sensor, motion sensor and backup battery. Everything works but the issue i'm having is with Remote start. Once the car is in remote start mode, when i go to activate RS, the car starts then alarm triggers. This kills the car and leaves the alarm going until i press the unlock on the remote.

I believe it's due to the 520T backup battery. The instant trigger on the 520T is wired directly to the alarms trunk/instant Blue wire. Is there a way i can bypass this instant trigger wire during Remote start?
