I've installed a couple of alarms and am pretty knowledgeable... I have an old compustar system from the early 2000's that I need to update so....

I've been looking at new alarms.

I was looking at the new compustar systems but read that some features require some programmer or something? Add to that I've been unable to find the install manual for the new compustar alarms...

Just wondering what alarm system is most user friendly for diy installs?

Any suggestions are appreciated :)

Should add that I'm working on an old Ford 92 f350 with a cummins 24v that is swapped into it.

Alarm needs to be pretty basic but I will need one or more negative outputs when in alarm and when armed
