Hey all,
You guys helped me install a Viper 5906v / iDataLink TB / DL modules about 10 years ago :)
Recently ran into an issue where the remote starter doesn't work properly anymore. Door locks work fine.
What happens is when you remote start it, everything goes as normal, it even does like a half a crank and then just abruptly stops.
(I recently replaced my radio headunit and may have done a little tugging on a few wires that may be near the starter / modules but I was pretty careful).
Anyone know anything about a half a crank and stop? Car starts fine with the key.
Thanks in advanced for any ideas.
- Justin

a little more info.
If I start the car with a key, then remote start it, I can remove the key and it stays started. Another thread said this is a passlock issue. Does that mean with the idatalink transponder bypass / immobilizer?
Update 2:
Putting the key in and turning to acc and RS results in the same half a crank and stop.

A little more info. I looked at old notes. I'm using the virtual tac. Never had an issue until now.
EDIT:
I relearned the virtual tac and all is well. Battery died a few days ago and must have messed with the programming. Odd because I have had the battery die before and never had to reprogram anything in 10 years.
