Hello! I’m hoping someone can lend me a hand. I installed an Avital 5305L on my 2000 Cherokee. Everything went well ( I used to install for Best Buy like 10 years ago but apparently suck now! So it went horribly lmao) for the most part. I started off with the siren, tach and door locks like I’m used to doing. Then went into the bulk of the rest. I have negative trigger locks so no relays needed and pretty simple to find my two wires. I tested them before I was complete and they worked great.
I finished up the install and started tucking my wires and cleaning up. Remote start works great, alarm is touchy but works great, and my unlock works great…. But not my lock. Nothin changed, wires are all correct and still soldered, but the lock does not work.
I figured maybe the brain had an issue so I swapped the wires as a test and still only the unlock works. At least I know both lock wires are working, but not on the jeep side.
My factory fob works good and has no issues and literally 30 minutes before this the Avital did as well so I’m confused!!!
Anyone have any ideas? Is there something program related? I’m lost.

I'm assuming you're using the orange/purple and pink/purple wires from the door lock switches?
The factory keyless module is located at the dome light. Check those wires (dark blue and light blue/red): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mf-8Kf-MA_I
