Hello here's a crazy question if the alarm is not hooked up you reach in and grab the remote out of the box if you press it and it is not hooked up will it make beep sounds and vibrate if it's charged up 5706v I believe a friend of mine bought a used alarm and the remote doesn't work on keypad beep and keypad vibrate, the icon shows it is on but it won't vibrate and won't beep and the alarm is not hooked up I thought the remotes vibrated and beeped if it had no signal or if it wasn't responding

I am pretty sure that they only beep or vibrate when the brain sends a signal to the remote. No brain, no beep or vibrate.
