2004 corolla manual transmission with viper 2way manual transmission remote start alarm.

Sometimes I leave the headlights on because when I do manual transmission mode on exiting the ignition stays on and does not beep with the door open and parking lights/headlights on so I forget to shut them off(no auto headlamps). At night I have to restart the car and relock. During the day I may not see them on, killing the battery.

If it were me, I'd wire up a separate 12 volt buzzer so it sounds whenever the door is open and the headlights are on regardless whether the ignition key is on or not.

could use the dome light as door trigger, and then use rearm to door pin for auto lights shut down.. or just not use the auto lights
