Installed IDatastart CMHCXAO RS with rf kit since you cant use OEM fobs for RS. RS works fine with rf kit and disarms factory alarm and remote starts as expected. I noticed if you use the fr kit remotes to unlock car(not after remote start) it unlocks car but sets off factory alarm. Is this normal? Is the rf kit remotes strictly for remote starting? When unlocking the car using carlink it also sets off the factory alarm. Is this a firmware or programming issue?
