Currently I am starting to install a Viper 5706V & DB3 into a 2008 Trailblazer without a factory alarm.

The DB3 has been programmed to the vehicle and I have the wiring diagram from Directed for the specific vehicle.

Trying to understand further how the DB3 and Alarm/Car Start are seeing the below without being connected to the vehicle:

DB3 = 12-Pin Red Connector has a Green/White wire for - Door Output (States it should be hooked up to remote start) 5706V = 24-Pin White Connect has a Green for - Door Input.
DB3 = 10-Pin Black Connector has a Green wire for - Lock Input (States it should be hooked up to remote start) 5706V = 3-Pin White Connect has a Green for - Lock Output.
DB3 = 10-Pin Black Connector has a Blue wire for - Lock Input (States it should be hooked up to remote start) 5706V = 3-Pin White Connect has a Blue for - Lock Output.

Anyone have the wiring diagram (color to color) for DB3 to 5706V (Chevy specific)? 5706V to 2008 Trailblazer without factory alarm? Thinking the D2D may control these and the wire should be hooked up to the vehicle but not sure.

Thanks in advance for the help on this!

The problem I am having is the remote start cranks and starts for between 5-10 seconds then shuts off.

This happens 3 times and the remote comes back with an error.

From my understanding this could be because of Virtual Tach learning but when I go into Remote Start Shutdown/Startup Diagnostics I am getting 9 flashes, Low Battery (Voltage Mode)

Any suggestion on fixing this?

DB3 I can't help you with.

9 flashes, is it possible you have tach set to voltage instead of virtual tach? I would try connecting the tach wire and switching to tach. Check for a white wire in A12 in the grey plug behind the instrument cluster. Be sure to relearn the tach.

I have the alarm working now but the brake override is currently not working. I have hooked it up at the flasher to the white wire (Ground and when break pedal is press it goes to power).

Any suggestions here?

Also the car cranks once then on the second crank it starts. Thinking of updating to .8 second crankng

Do you have to the vehicle's white brake wire connected to the Viper's brown wire (pin 20 in white 24 pin plug)? While remote started, what happens if you jump 12 volts directly to the Viper's brown brake input wire?

Did you wire the tach behind the instrument cluster and relearn the tach?
