It's likely caused by some wiring not getting powered correctly. What vehicle?

Probably because the steering lock is a mechanical lock that is disengaged by the key cylinder.

That is correct, I've the ignition key in and must be twisted in order to release the hatch that holding the steering wheel lock.
Si guys not sure if all cars are like this, but in this situation, I've clear visibility to the hatch that locking it and I've put something in between to stop the hatch falling abd locking the steering wheel, because if I leave the key in, then it will turn the acc on which might drain the battery. Any other professional way to get it sorted with the wiring itself?

PS if I leave the key twisted to not lock the steering wheel, then it will show an error sign like electrical error sign
