2014 Toyota Tacoma double cab

Hi. I installed the 5706V 10 years ago with everything working. In the last year or so, I've noticed that it is intermittently not locking my door locks anymore. I have 2 452T modules to lock and unlock. I tried replacing the lock one, but that didn't help. I tried a replacement brain, but couldn't get it into pairing mode for some reason.

My original brain has the old style 2 pin connector for the autostart shut off. The new one is missing those two pins. I'm not sure if that is preventing me from getting into pairing mode on the replacement brain.

I reached out to a dealer and they said DEI doesn't make the brains with those connectors any longer.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
