First, let me say, thank you, for allowing me to be a part of this forum community.

I am installing a remote start/alarm system on my 2002 Thor Four Winds motor coach. It is on a Ford E450 chassis and has the V10 gasoline engine. The installation manual is very vague, and I need some help connecting the keyless entry part of the alarm system. I believe Ford uses the negative switching to voltage type of keyless entry wiring, and I have found the wires in the driver's kick panel that are used for lock and unlock. When I press the unlock side of the switch, a ground is changed to 12v on a pink/black wire, and pressing the lock, I see a ground change to 12v on a red/orange wire. My alarm instructions give me several ways to connect this, but I am not sure which one I should follow.

Also, I would like to get a second opinion on my remote start connections. I didn't use a relay with the remote start.

From alarm system              to E450 wiring
Red + in        Yellow. (constant 12v)
Red + in        Yellow   (constatn 12v)
Purple starter White/pink   (starter)
Pink Ign       Red/light green. (start/run)
Pink/white Ign Red/light green. (start/run)

The pictures are from the install manual.

I did forget to mention the name brand of the alarm system. It is an old system that I have had a very long time, but still new in the box. It is a Varad Model number VS-702.
My vehicle doesn't have a smart key or factory keyless entry installed.

Thanks in advance for any and all help.
