Hey

I got a new/used/never installed viper 550 ASP alarm system, but when I open the box no LED flasher to be found.

Do I have to go to DEI for the replacement or can these be had from any alarm shop or make my own?? OR do I even need to install it?

Any LED will work fine....as long as its a 2volt LED....which most are. You only need the connector that original LED had to plug into the alarm brain. All DEI dealers will have one around I'm sure. The plug is so small I dont recommend trying to solder the wires on the brain itself.
