After installing the 4105v into my 1998 Chevrolet k1500 all functions work as they should but when using remote start it pops a Service engine soon light.
Diagnosing this shows I am getting no 12v power to ignition E when using the remote start but is just fine with the key. This is what powers the pcm/transmission and causes the transmission to go into limp mode and the SES light.
Checking all ignition wires at the unit
Pin1-red-12v constant key and remote start
Pin2-pink/white-not connected
Pin3-red-12v constant key and remote start
Pin4-orange- 12v upon start with key and remote start
Pin5-purple- 12v while cranking key and remote start
Pin6-pink- 12v upon start with key and remote start
What am I missing? Does the pink/white need tied in somewhere?
Do I need to be checking the harness voltages at another spot?

Sounds like the white wire at the ignition harness needs to be connected to the pink/white of the Viper.
