in what kind of car?

Some vehicals are known to not let the drivers door lock unless it's shut, therefore causing the lock to pop back up and when that happen the rest of the door unlock, or maybe you've got the lock and unlock wires from the master lock actuactor around the wrong way

It's on a 1996 Eclipse. and that could be the problem but I don't have the care right now to test that. The kit was the Spal door lock kit. 2 door with all wiring and door lock relay.
Thanks

you need to check the locking rods that you attached to the factory locks. sounds like alignment problem. if you have any resistance on the locking rods, they will not work stay in one position. also make sure you have good connections on the power and ground wires........
